This TS-450SAT is in very good condition. It fully transmits and receives as it should. All features, bands, and modes work as they should. Please view the images for more detail.

Notice this unit has a built-in antenna tuner installed.   

**This unit belonged to my dad who recently passed away.  I don't know much about radios, but I do know that he was very proud of the power of this unit and how it functioned.  Knowing my dad, it has probably been tuned and tweaked for performance.  He took very good care of all his radio equipment although this unit could use a good cleaning - he was a smoker so it has some residue on the exterior.  I didn't attempt any cleaning as I don't want to damage anything.

 

The Kenwood TS-450S is a formidable transceiver covering 160 through 10 meters including the WARC bands with 100 watts input (40W AM). The TS-450S supports many advanced features such as keypad entry, VOX, 100 memories, XIT, RIT, Notch, IF Shift, Squelch and digital meter. This radio has a carry handle. Requires 13.8 VDC at 20.5 amps. Digital Signal Processing (DSP) in both transmit and receive modes (with optional DSP-100 installed) provide greatly enhanced signal purity. MC-43S hand mic included.

The Kenwood TS-450SAT includes the AT-450 antenna tuner factory installed.
